Artist Augusto Esquivel realistically duplicates objects by suspending thousands of sewing buttons on mere strings. Each strand of his incredible sculptural pieces work with their adjacent string of buttons to create colourful replicas of everything, from a basic geometric cube to a stone fountain covered in flowers and spouting water,

Plot twist: The next companion is a normal girl/boy who only dies once in their lifetime and has no remarkable back story but he thinks they’re wonderful because they are human and the Doctor needs reminding that you don’t need to be a mystery to be remarkable.
#and the doctor never has to kiss them or sexualize them at all #in fact they are not even attracted to the doctor
so basically we want Donna back
YES PLEASE. Look I like the whole “badass mystery, so important to the whole universe, super special” characters as much as anyone, but, um… isn’t that the DOCTOR? Sure it’s nice to have some others here and there but I also like him having the balance of a normal human being who is important just because they ARE.
I miss Donna. I hated how they ended her time with the Doctor. :(
That was the best thing about Donna, Martha, and Rose. They weren’t anything more than human, but when they were put in situations where they had to save the world/universe, they did.
Now hold up.

Feeling bad about wanting things (Warning: EMOTIONS)
It was my birthday during the exam season, so revision got in the way of celebrating properly with my friends. They had drinks on that night anyway (there was a long gap between exams) even though I said I wasn’t able to party with them (i really wanted a head start on the next exam…it was making me really nervous).
I was okay with that, hoping that they’d remembered that I wanted to celebrate properly as soon as the season of hell was over. Fast forward to today when I find out that there are other plans to go to out to a club that they know I hate for a leaving do for a friend who treats everyone like crap and is one of the most self-centred people I’ve ever come across.
Usually, I wouldn’t be too hung up on such a thing. But the prolonged period of solitude required for optimum revision has left me craving human companionship, especially that of my friends. This desire to be noticed and loved by these people has sparked something along the lines of spitefulness towards Friday’s new plans. I thought we had already agreed what we were celebrating, as well as where.
To add insult to injury, you know that one person in the group that everybody loves? The life of the party? Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate her. She’s an incredibly loveable person. When it was her birthday, the plans for a surprise party (that she knew about) flowed like the Thames. The resulting party was huge, I even baked her a gangnam style rainbow cake and cleaned up the sticky smelly mess of their kitchen the next morning. There are now even plans for the next birthday in the group going ahead.
As far as I’m aware, there haven’t been any plans for my birthday. I haven’t received any presents apart from my family and my boyfriend (who seem to be the only ones who think that surviving another year is a big deal).
As I said, they invited me to their house for celebratory drinks, but I was really nervous about the next exam regardless of the time I had to revise for it.
Should I pay the price for wanting to pass my exams with the best grades possible?
They even said “Well 20 isn’t really a huge milestone, so it’s not like you missed out on much.”
That’s what hurt the most.
That comment.
As if my birthday was negligible.
This is why I find people difficult to deal with.

Can I also make the point that a person was actually killed in such a barbaric way?
The religion/race/terrorism uproar of opinions is inevitable, don’t get me wrong…
…but can you imagine dying like that after walking around minding your own business? Can you imagine the grief the victim’s family and friends are feeling right now?
Fucking distressing.

The only thing more depressing than the news tonight is the bigotry that has followed.
